These are very impressive Tablets. However, they are a bit on the expensive side. Good thing Amazon isn’t forgetting its core market with the $139 Kindle Fire HD, which is a really good deal. More once I’ve had a chance to think about these new Kindle Fire HDX tablets.

  1. I had to have it…yep I paid the “big bucks” to purchase the new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″ Tablet 32 GB. Did I need it? Nope. Did I want it and decide to move up from my 7″ Fire HD? Yes I made the plunge with the high note that my 5 year Granddaughter gets my old Fire HD which is perfect for her little hands. Now to sit and wait until November!

    1. Congrats Linda! I think it’s a good purchase. They’ve really put effort into making it live up to the ‘best tablet … at any price’ claim. Nice to see them improve most of the things – screen resolution, processor, RAM (2 GB of RAM will be a big factor).
